In this chapter, Ren tells us that he's the current master of Tongyue, which means he'll be in contact with haoguang in the future. He also says that the journal of his master doesn't say anything about him at all, which makes him feel a little better. He's also worried about the second chapter, which deals with wangchuan and his doll. The doll can do a lot of things, like switch bodies or copy people's memories, but it can't do anything to resurrect unless the price is paid. Ren wonders if it's fun to have one on one time with his teacher. He asks Ren's sister why she hasn't met him personally, and she says that he was probably 12 or 13 years old when she met him.
