In this chapter, the main character, the old man, is talking to the young man, the leader of the Nine Realms sect. The old man asks him why he came to see the leader. The young man answers that he came because he wanted to find out more about the magic powers of the augmented undead. The Old Man is shocked to learn that the man is a member of the nine realms, and that he has come to search for his magic powers. He is also shocked to find that the Old Man's magic powers have already been destroyed. He also learns that the three augmented undead on board the ship are very strong, and one is particularly strong. He decides that killing the three kids will be more important to him than killing the other two. He tells the young men that he still wants to keep his old magic powers, even though they are useless to him.
