In this short scene, Ren and his friends discuss the upcoming entrance exams to the colleges. Ren tells his friends that they should prepare for the tests. He tells them that there are a few people who are able to sense and control magic, but they are only referred to as "magic" or "supernatural abilities." The undead are the "sworn enemies" of the seekers, and they will attract their magic from the immortal lord. Once the blood of a seeker is absorbed, the undead are resurrected as "their once-worn enemy." Ren tells the students that they will need to remember this test for the test. People who do not know better will assume they are consuming the undead's flesh or blood. Ren then discusses the topic of "divine," the division of humanity's "most powerful organization."
