Roger is worried about his grandfather's house and wonders if he's being watched. He's also worried about the lights going out and the girls going home. He tells the girls to go home and he'll come back when they're ready to practice again. When he gets back to the school, he finds that the lights are gone and that the girls are going home after practicing again. He asks the girls if they noticed that someone was in the school and they all agree that it's a good thing that they didn't. He also tells them that they'll have to take care of the lights during the day because the East Side guns are watching them. He says that the only ones who don' t think that the school is run by a bunch of jerks like him and his grandfather are the ones who have no idea about the past twenty-five years. He adds that he came to talk to him about his financial problems. He doesn't want to make fun of the school's management, he says, but he does want to talk about the fact that he and his friends have to go back to school because of all the money they've saved since elementary school. He jokes that he knows that ikki would never stand for this kind of thing either. He then asks if he can practice without first practicing.
