In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, the "water keeper" . He is a member of the team that has been training for the upcoming battle with the panthers. The water keeper is very excited to be in the middle of the battle, and he is also very excited about the fact that he will be able to use his newfound speed to his advantage. He tells us that he has just seen a funny show called "the twentieth ultra" , which is about a group of men beating up on a single monster . This is the first time he has laughed in a long time. He also says that the battle will be his last drink of water. He compares it to the battle of the "panthers colsa," which was fought in the "20th century." The road is made by han, the road by his boss, and the road over road by benkei, the leader of the panther team. As the water keeper tells us, this is the same way that he and the other team members are divided from one cell. They are all part of the same single device, the trophagous, or "the sleeping forest." The sleeping forest, he says, is a "godstone" that will fall on the head of any man who dares to invade the sky.
