In this chapter, we learn that Ulm is the leader of the sleeping forest, and he welcomes everyone to the place. He tells everyone that he's the one who tried to take Ulm's body from the tower, but Ulm doesn't believe him. He's not a member of the team, he says, because he stole a wind-tuner from the factory. The factory is in the forest, where monsters hunt, and Ulm has no sense of danger. He criticizes Ulm for being lacking in a sense of threat, and says that he has ninety points, which is a lot for a potential sky-keeper.
