Tommo explains that he and the others are the only team in the tournament that has reached the third-round round already. He explains that the local people are suffering from the effects of the war, and that he has taken a picture of it and magnified it so that it looks like the emperor is sitting at the top of the stairs of the castle. He also remarks that he hopes that the emperor burns himself into ash so that he will no longer attract attention.
