Knocking on the door of the house, Cuttle asks if he heard everything. He says he did, but that his acting was terrible. Cuttle says he's still happy that he got to kiss Roxane, and that his dream date with Roxane was even more distant than it is now. The sound of her voice makes him crazy, he says, because the body is so big that it can't hold all the water it needs to breathe. He tells Cuttle that if he lets himself get angry at this point, he won't be able to accomplish anything. He asks if Cuttle will hear him out, and Cuttle replies that he'll be the one standing under the water tank from Roxane's point-of-view. The water tank will be fighting for "genesis" , which is why Cuttle is standing under it. The only way to stop this is to stop talking about it, says Cuttle, because it's impossible to change anything.
