The narrator flips through a tournament chart and figures out that the girls who missed their chance to advance to the next round of the tournament were actually there to get a reward for missing their chance. He flips through the chart and realizes that they're not even worthy of the prize they've been given. The narrator then flips through another tournament chart, this one showing the number of hits missed by the girls in the first round. He realizes that he's not even thinking about the tournament at all. He's here to destroy it in his own way.
