About This Chapter
This chapter's epigraph comes from a soliloquy by Gulliver, in which he laments the fact that he is not wearing the proper air gear. He blames himself for the incident, saying that he had earlier told Gulliver to wear a "diaper" instead of a "dandy" one. Gulliver then goes on to explain that he believes in his power, and that he will prove his worth to the King and Queen by doing so. The King, he says, will always need someone else to take care of him. Gulliver, however, does not believe in the King or Queen's plans, and he plans to tell them the real plan in a month's time. Gulliver says that the King's team is missing one thing: "decisiveness" . Each member of the team has a different goal and a different set of circumstances, and each is fighting for his or her own dream. Gulliver explains that the quest to destroy the tower of Trophaeum is their entry into knighthood, and the residents of the island have copied Gulliver's neck road
