In this short scene, we are introduced to a number of the characters who have been introduced in the previous two chapters. The first introduces us to Hiroshi, who has just returned from his trip to the moon. He is extremely excited to be back in the company of his friends. He tells us that the moon is the most important thing in his life, and that it is the only thing that matters to him. The second introduces Hiroshi's wife, who is also present at the beginning of the scene. She tells him that he is a good man and that she is happy to see him again. She also tells him about her love for him and her desire to marry him. As she leaves, Hiroshi asks her if she would like to have sex with him. She replies that she would, but that she does not want to marry a man who does not love her. She then asks him if he would like sex with her, and he replies that he would, if only for the sake of sex. He then tells her that he does not wish to marry her because she is not a good woman. He also tells her about his love for her and his desire to see her again. As he leaves, he sees the moon and thinks about how beautiful it is. He realizes that he will never be able to see the moon again because he is so beautiful.
