He wonders if he really deserves his spot on the team. The gap between the team and the rest grows, and the uncertainty stuck with him. he wonders if I really deserved my place on this team. He says he has been practicing more than ever, and that he never once thought of it that way. The other players are practicing so much, he says, that they have to keep practicing too, too, or else. He tries to get them to reserve these dates, but they refuse, saying that they need to have a meeting, second only. He tells them that he has only one more year to spend, and he can throw all he wants in that uniform.
