Miyuki tells him that Hiroki is the worst pitcher on the team, and Hiroki says that he's going to have to throw a fastball at him. He's not going to let the other team have a chance to hit him, he says. He says that even if Hiroki throws a fastball, he'll still have to hit a grounder or a flyball to get out of a jam. He doesn't want to let Hiroki have any more opportunities to hurt him, so he tells him to just swing at the first pitch he sees.
