In this chapter, we find out what's going on with the diamond, and we learn that Chris is doing really well. He's throwing wild, but he's also getting a lot of help from a bunch of guys in the dugout, including a guy named Kensuke, who's playing second base for the first time in his life. Kensuke's a big fan of Ken's, and he tells us that he'll be watching the game from the dugout. When Kensuke asks if he can watch the game, Kensuke says he can't, because he doesn't care about the other team's rivalry. He tells Kensuke to hurry up to the dugout and get ready to pitch.
