In this chapter, we learn that Milady is still running around the field, and that she's not going to stop until she catches up to the rest of the team. Milady tells us that she is going to practice again, but that she doesn't want to lose, because she thinks that losing will make Milady even more wicked. She says that she admires Milady's "brazenness" on the mound, and she hopes that it will make him a better pitcher in the future. The other players congratulate Milady on her performance, and Milady says that they're excited for her to grow and become a better team. She also says that the team has learned how to handle inside pitching, which is something Milady hasn't really done before. They've been waiting for Milady to do it, and now he's doing it for them.
