About This Chapter
Sawamura is all, "Hey, I'm the only southpaw on the team, so I thought I'd step up and help out with the batting practice." Uh-oh. Nah, he's just trying to be helpful. He doesn't really want to lose his pitching form. He just wants to be useful to the team. He's been working hard on his side-arm pitch, but now he wants to throw it away. He wants to run a real-life batting practice so the other pitchers can practice their stuff too. He also wants some of the other batters to be "runners" , so they can get ready to hit the ball. He tells them to be careful with the low balls they throw because they'll be waiting for the "easy strike" from the opposing pitcher.
