The next morning, Hiroyuki tells Miyuki that he has just returned from a game in which he hit a three-run home run. Miyuki asks Hiroyuki what he said, and Hiroyuki replies that he said goodbye. Hiroyuki then asks Miyuki to tell him all about the game, and Miyuki tells him that the other players were just garbage. He says that he'll do his very best from now on, and that he admires Hiroyuki's favorite position on the diamond: pitcher. He also says that Hiroyuki is too big for him to be quiet, and he doesn't care about him yet. He wants to play the position of catcher, but Miyuki says that it's too far away from the strike zone for him. He's not strong enough to be a pitcher, and it will be hard to get him into a position like that.
