In the third, amahisa takes over the game. He strikes out two of the first three batters he faces. Todoroki, however, gets a double on the first pitch he sees from the pitcher. He's the only batter in the game to get a hit in the first two at-bats, and he's also the only one to score in the third. The only thing that keeps him from getting a hit is that the pitcher is throwing a wild pitch, which leads to an infield single. This is the first time in the tournament that todoroki has been hit by a pitch, so it's not a big deal.
