In this chapter, we're introduced to some of the players from the previous chapter's action. First, we get a brief description of the current team: the upper-classmen. They're playing in an exhibition game, so they're not as good as they used to be, but they've still got a lot to prove. The upper classmen aren't as bad as they were in the first game, and they don't seem to have the same kind of mental toughness as the lower classmen. Still, the upperclassmen have a good chance of winning the game, because they'll be able to use their speed and power against the lowerclassmen's pitching. The lower-classman, on the other hand, is just trying to play the game the same way he's always played it. This is the first time that he has ever played in a game like this, and he thinks it's awesome. He's also psyched to see how quickly he can catch up to the upper classman's speed, because he thinks he'll have to learn how to use his speed to his advantage in the future.
