About This Chapter
In this chapter, we get a brief description of what it's like to be a coach and a player on the same team. It's not just about hitting the ball, though - the coach's job is to make sure that the players are firing on all cylinders. He's also the one who's supposed to keep the players on their toes and keep them focused on the task at hand. In other words, he's the guy who makes sure the players stay focused on what they're supposed to be doing on the field. He also makes sure that they keep the ball in the proper place on the diamond so that the batter can't get too far away from the ball. The other thing that's important to remember is that the coach is supposed to get the players to focus on what's going on in front of them, not on what the ball is going to do to them. This is especially important when you're dealing with a guy like Hiroshi, who throws the ball so hard that he can barely see the inside of the plate. Hiroshi's a good hitter, but he can only get so far away because he has to keep his eye on the ball and keep his eyes on the batter. The only thing that keeps Hiroshi from focusing on his job is the fact that the other guys on the team are so fast and agile that they can do anything he wants to them to do. He tells us that Hiroshi has been working hard on his outside-pitching skills, and that he'll never give up on it. The coach asks if Hiroshi and Sawamura played against Hiroshi in middle school, and the two of them agree that they
