About This Chapter
Okay, now it's time to judge the game. First off, we're told that the first point of the game was made by akikawa's second baseman, who hit a two-run home run in the first inning. Okay, so that's pretty impressive, right? The second baseman's name is tsushima, and he's a good-looking guy. He's got a lot of speed, so he should be able to take advantage of any opportunities presented by the opposing team's pitchers. The other guys are like, um, what's up with that? Well, the first pitch of the second inning is a walk-off home run. Um, okay. The second-base coach, Hiroyuki, is like, what the heck are you talking about? Um, we don't really know. The third base coach, Ryosuke, is a little more diplomatic. He tells the other guys that the pitcher is trying to catch the ball just outside the strike zone, which makes it a three-run walk. Uh-oh.
