Lin tells his father that he can only escape death by using the sun's rays to cut off the "meridians" of his sword array and "erose the spiritual sea" . Lin wants to kill his son, but his father tells him not to worry, as he will count three to kill him. Lin is furious, and tries to save his son by killing him.
