This chapter opens with a cheerful conversation between a brother chong yue and a senior yue. The senior is a member of the "yun meng" martial arts family, and the brother is proud of the fact that he owns the "Jade Nine Overlapping Waves" . He invites the senior to join the family as an "honorary guest" and asks the senior how he thinks of the brother. Senior says that he was surprised to find that the brother knew him, and that he never would have thought that such a low man would know him. He says that the family is ungrateful and has disgraced themselves. The brother says he will take his leave from the family, but that he still has to go recruit the senior.
