The chapter opens with a flashback to six years ago, when yue was crying because of chu . The flashback shows that chu was promoted to the top rank of the Heaven spirit realm, but that he was demoted to the lower level of the Earth spirit realm because of his defeat of Heaven's spirit realm. Worried that he has lost his promotion, chu tells yue that the other martial houses have come together to recruit him. He tells bai that he is afraid that they will all feel embarrassed if they go to see chu, but bai says that they do not have a personal relationship and that they all agreed to go together. . He asks chu when he will wake up, and chu says that he will wait for half an hour before going to see anyone. He wants to know why yue called him master, and he asks bai why he did not invite him to his martial house when he publicly invited him there.
