The monk explains that he is sick and cannot go to the martial house. He wants to be a "core disciple" . The monk tells him that he can change his requirements if he wants. He then gives him the name of "ling disciple" and orders him to take orders from him. He tells the monk that since he is ill, he does not need to be kowtow to him anymore. He also tells him not to worry about the other disciples because they will take care of him when he gets better.
