The jade master explains that the nine ice-terminus pulse of the treasure puppet has spread throughout the palace, and that the elders are gathered there. He explains that in order to suppress the pulse, he and sister lin must seal the treasure's nine points with the nine-star snow lotus. They must do this before the master is out of training, so that he will not become a second crystal.
