He tells Senior Mo that he will prepare him a great gift, and that they will not be indifferent to the upcoming battle. Shu tells his disciples that it is time to cultivate "the falling health and the tempering body art," a technique that involves pushing the body's vitality out first, and then strengthening it to the limit. The higher you cultivate the more vitality you draw out, but if you are able to reach the ninth level, your vitality runs out and you become a mummified body. Shu compares the pain of the body to a thousand blades ripped apart. He says that if he reaches the ninth realm, even the emperor's warriors cannot defeat him. This stinging sensation is the first floor but it is already so painful. It is as though the bones of his whole body have been broken.
