The next morning, Hiroshi asks Asahina if she's okay. She says she is, and Hiroshi tells her that her father came by earlier in the day to pick her up. Hiroshi says he's going to make sure to call on Hashiba, too, since she seems worried. He apologizes for not telling her about the whole thing earlier, and says that he'll try to be a good host to her. He also says that his trip to the mountains was a little weird, since he didn't tell his friends about it. He admits that if he'd known about it, he would have been angry at both of them, but he doesn't blame himself for that. He says that if it weren't for him, he wouldn't have found out about it either, and that would've been enough to end the whole mess. He's not blaming himself, he says, because his dad called earlier and said that he would take her home for a few days. He adds that he knows that the next day will be the day after the Tomorrow concert, so he wants to be sure to stay away from her for as long as he can. He tells Hiroshi to go to bed, and then he says that the day before the concert, his father called to say that his daughter was sick and couldn't go to the concert because she was too tired to make it. The father said he would go to her house and take her away from the concert.
