Ayano asks about the gift he's been given for the girl. He's not sure if she'll like it, but he'll give it to the girl anyway. He asks if he can see the necklace he gave her, and she says that she's going to give it back to him. He tells her to go ahead and give the necklace to her, but she doesn't know what to make of it. She's still worried about what to do with it, so she tells him not to say anything bad about it to her. Then he tells her that he went out with Asahina on purpose, but that he didn't tell her about it because he wanted her to be surprised. He says that he wanted to pretend that it was all a lie, so he pretended that he was going out with her. But then he found out that she actually went out shopping with him, and that she took him around all the places she went shopping with her, telling him all about it. He was totally floored by how much she was telling him about him and how happy she was with him. And then he asks if she gave him the necklace, which she did, and he says that if she liked it, then she gave it to him, too. Um, that's kind of weird, but then he realizes that he spent all his time with him for nothing, so maybe he should think about what he did.
