This chapter opens with a flashback to last year's Valentine's Day. It's the same story again, except this time, it's about a girl named Shusakabe who's crushing on a guy named yamato. Shu's crush has been giving him chocolate late in the day, but she doesn't seem to be giving him any of it this year. Hmm...what's going on? Well, Shu says, he's tracked down the guy who'd been giving late-night chocolate to Shu'sabe. He's got a message for his mom: she should take him out to dinner. Shu says he'll tell her he won't have to eat dinner that night. Uh-oh. Um, what's up with all of this? Shu says it'll be nice to eat some food after a long day of practice, but he'd better make sure to eat it right away. Shu promises to do just that.
