The next day at school, Hiroshi asks Asahina if she likes him. She replies that she does, but she does not know if he likes her or not. Hiroshi tells her that he has not made any progress in his studies, and that he hopes to meet Suzuka at the inter-high school competition the following day. He says that he realizes that she may be attracted to him, but that he does not hate her. He tells her to hurry home because he will miss dinner.
