In this chapter, we learn that Asahina's health has taken a turn for the worse, and that her husband, Hiroyuki, has been forced to stay at home with his sick wife. Hiroyuki tries to cheer his wife up by telling her that he's doing well, but she doesn't seem to know what's going on. She asks him if he'd like to take some of her clothing to the hospital, but he says he can't leave right now, so he'll just give it to the nurse. He also asks the nurse to stay away from the hospi for a while, so that he won't catch a cold. The nurse tells him that she's already feeling better, and Hiroyuki tells her to go back to bed. He tells her that everything's fine and that he just had a big fight with Suzuka. He says that Suzuka was just here, and they've been so busy that they haven't had much time to talk. He's not sure why Suzuka hates how he has to balance his job with his studies, but it's his fault that he took the job, he says, because he wanted to focus on his studies. Suzuka, he tells us, is so selfish that she wouldnt even let him explain what he was going through. She's just like, "I don't know what you're going through, but I'm going to fight with you about this." He asks why he shouldn't just break off with her.
