The next morning, Akitsuki skips morning practice again. He has signed up for the next day's meet, but he hasn't heard from him. He's also skipping practice because he's not feeling well. He says he was chosen to represent the school at the meet because he believed in his abilities, but now he just wants to hang out with his "butt over here" and "start drinking" . Asahina scolds him for skipping practice, saying that he should just shut up and go home. She also says that she's going to freak out when she sees him stalking Suzuka, and that he'll have to leave her alone. She tells him to get his butt over there and "woo woo hey" , and get his ass over here and start drinking. She says that Suzuka will freak out if he follows her to her house, and then she'll freak out again when she finds out that he followed her home all the way there. He tells her to leave him alone, and says that he was right to tell him not to join the team unless he was serious about it. He thinks that maybe he has what it takes to be a part of the team, and now he thinks that the team is in a fight with each other. Suzuka slaps him on the face, and he thinks she slapped him to make him look like a dead man. He doesn't know what to think.
