Asahina is at her school, a private school in a small town in northeastern Japan. She's in a good mood, and a man from the sales department of a company called Adirex is there to talk to her. The man asks if he can speak with her teacher, and she says yes. He tells her that he's going to meet some of the school's athletes who are going to compete in the upcoming national track and field meet in Yokohama. He asks if she'd like to meet him, and he says he'll meet her later that day. He also tells her about the other day, when he asked one of the company's employees if he could make her a pair of custom-made shoes, but the man said he'd have to make the shoes himself. He says he doesn't mind if she asks him to make her some shoes, because she's so happy to be back with him. She says she wants to go to the meet with him, too, and that she'll make it happen.
