Asahina is in the middle of a conversation with her friend chan, and she asks chan if she's in her way. chan tells her that he's been waiting for her for a long time, and chan asks her if there's something wrong between her and Akitsuki. . , chan says that he just had something in his eye, and he doesn't know what to tell her. He tells her about the district champion ships coming up soon, and about how she was the only freshman girl to make it to the tournament. He also tells her how he was trying to get Akatsuki to go along with him, but she didn't want to go because she was worried about her feelings for him. He asks her why she can't just tell him whether she likes him or not, and how she makes life impossible for everyone around her. She tells him that she can go anywhere she wants, and that it's her wishy-washy attitude that keeps her from being able to be friends with him. She also tells chan that she has waited for him a long, long time. She says that she was just there a second time, but that she couldn't find him anywhere. She goes on to say that she'd rather be alone than be with him right now, because she feels like she'll be alone for the rest of her life. She's still in love with her, she says, and promises that they can be friends again.
