The next morning, Akitsuki and Suzuka are still on the train platform in Tochigi. Suzuka asks if they're still awake, and Akatsuki asks where they've been going. They're not sure what to do, but Suzuka suggests that they eat some okonomiyaki, which is a type of Japanese food. The narrator chimes in that all of the places were packed, and that's why Suzuka spent so much time "screwing around" on them. The bullet train is on its way back to Okayama, and the narrator is psyched to be home. He asks if Asahina and akitsuki are on board the train, and they say they aren't. They try to figure out a way to catch the train home, but they can't because the train only goes as far as Okayama. They decide to go ask the attendant at the station if they can catch a regular train home. The station attendant tells them that there's only one train home at that time of year, so they'll have to wait until the next morning.
