Hiroshi asks yamato why he hasn't taken a break from running. He's thinking about the future, but he doesn't feel like he has to push himself too hard because he's only thinking of the present. Hiroshi tells him that if he ends up hurting himself, he'll just be a burden. He asks what's on Hiroshi's mind. Asahina has said she'll be home late, and Hiroshi wonders if they should go grab something to eat while Hiroshi waits for her. He wants to know what she's planning on cooking for dinner. She's wearing an apron for the first time, and he thinks it's pretty funny that she'd wear such a thing. He tells her to make it hot and spicy, but she says it'd be better if it were in a curry. He also says he'd rather not eat spicy food, because he hates it. She tells him to put the habanero peppers in the curry, but Hiroshi says he wouldn't want to put them in a spicy dish because it would be too hot. He says he wants to use the time they have now to do things he likes, like go abroad and do track studies. He apologizes for being so rude to her, and she says she might have gotten sick from wanting to show him her good side, but that she will be absorbed in the university track next year whether she likes it or not.
