Asahina and the rest of the team are getting ready to go for a run, Akatsuki catches up with Arima, who is leading the race. Akitsuki asks Arima what's wrong, and Arima says that he's skipping three days of running practice so he can "keep up" with Emerson, who's running faster than him. Akita sucks up to Arima and tells him to pass him, because Arima is taking the lead. He's not even a good runner, Akita says, and he should just beat Emerson instead of running away from him. Okay, so Akita is bummed out, but she doesn't want to be a loser, so she's cool with it. She's just trying to cheer Emerson up, which is a good thing, because Emerson's got a bad reputation for being a bad runner. She tells Akita to hold on to his leg, because she'll be mad if he does this to her. She says that she cheered him on while he was running, and that he acted like a loser to her, and now she wants him to come back and cheer her on. She doesn' t want him to do this to himself, but Akita thinks she means it, so he'll come back anyway.
