At the start of the final round of the Tokyo High School District Track and Field Championships, Hiroshi is the first runner to reach the starting line. He's followed by Arima, who's already won the race, and Tatsukawa-Kun, who was supposed to be on the team but has yet to run in the race. Hiroshi says that he's psyched to be in first place, even though he knows that Arima is going to win the race by a huge margin. He also says that if he loses, he'll be disappointed, since Arima has already beaten him by a big margin.
