In this short scene, Shmoop introduces us to Sakurai, the new manager of the girls' gymnastics team. He's excited to be a part of the team, but he's also a little worried about the relationship between Asahina and his new girlfriend, Akitsuki. He tries to cheer her up by reminding her that she's the best gymnast in the world, and that she should stop trying to squeeze him too hard. He also tells her that he'll give her a massage if she doesn't stop acting like a little bratty girl. He wants to know why they're so mean to him, and why Suzuka is trying so hard to stay on top of his game. He asks if they can just give him a break, and they agree to do so. He tells them that he wants to get into a fight with Ashina, but that he can't because of the girl's constant nagging at him. He wonders why she has to act like a bratty little girl, and he wonders if they should just give Suzuka a break and let him do his thing.
