The next morning, Asahina calls the school teacher and tells him that she has been accepted to a university in Tosoh, a city in central Japan, and that she needs to decide which school to attend. The teacher tells her that she should go to Toto because it is a lot closer to her school, and she should not tell him she is planning to go to a trade school. He tells her she is like a "little kid shut up" and that he wants her to get busy and study hard so that she will be able to make the right choice. He also tells her to "woo ar woo her always amazes me" . He then asks her if she is doing well in the fall track competition. She replies that she is, and he tells her he is the team's "ace runner" , which means that he thinks she is the best runner in the world. He asks her to walk home with him, but she says she wants to run through the park with him. She tells him to "do what ever you want" and asks him to come with her if he is still undecided.
