In this chapter, we learn that Ilanda's creation is a "false pureblood" creature, and that it has come to live in the "advanced holy barrier" of the underworld. We learn that this barrier is the same barrier that sealed off the underworld from the outside world in the first place, and we also learn that it was the barrier that separated the demon queen from the demon king in the last scene of the play. In other words, the barrier between the world outside and the world inside is a kind of holy barrier that separates the two worlds. This is where the "pure blood" and the "false blood" meet, and the two of them discuss the possibility of a pact between the two. Ilandas's "purity" is so strong that he can "make a pactio" without kissing, but the two men can't make a pact without kissing.
