About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that Nemo has been away from home for a month and a half, and that he's hungry. He says that he has been "immortal" for over 1400 years, but that he doesn't have as much power as he used to. He's not immortal, he says, because back then, he wasn't the only one who was immortal. In fact, he thinks, he was one of the last to be immortal. He thinks that if he follows Nemo's example, he'll learn a lot about life.
