Back at the castle, we learn that Mihashi was part of a team that saved the lives of a bunch of people back in the day. He's now a villain, and he's got a message for Tota. Mihashi and Tota are on their way back to town, and Mihashi wants to know what's going on. He asks Tota if he can ask her not to shoot him. Tota says she can't ask him not to, because she's friends with Mihashi's grandfather, and she doesn't want him to hurt her. But Mihashi says he'll kill Mihashi if he sees him. He says he hates to do it to her, but he has to, since they're going to have to start all over again. He tells Tota that he has the power to put a distance between them, but Mihashi is too smart to figure out how to do that. He calls Tota stupid, and says he did some research on her and her grandfather. He also says that he can turn everyone in the castle into dust in a second. He wants to find out who this mysterious woman is, and then he can figure out what to do with his grandpa.
