It's been six hours since the potion was given to Tommo, and Tommo is still thinking about what he's done. He can't believe that he'll spend the rest of his life locked up in a dungeon with Tommo. He's also worried about what Tommo will think of him when he realizes that he loves him. Tommo says he loves everyone and everything, and that he used to be a teacher who loved Tommo even more than Tommo did. But in the end, he hanged himself because he turned against god. This is the same thing Tommo thinks about when he thinks about the potion. He wonders if this is punishment for Tommo's actions, or if it's punishment for his god, or whatever. He doesn't know. He just wants to know what's wrong with his chest.
