When the boy realizes that he is the one who cut him, he curses the girl for being so young and for having used her life for revenge. He prays that his next life will be filled with peace and joy. The boy explains that the girl was called a "demon queen" because she was able to destroy a band of "wizards" that were under the thumb of one of the "wizarding world's" rulers. The wizarding world did not want to turn against her, so she would thwart the pursuers who wanted to take revenge on her. This made her even more famous and angered more wizards, and won them even more enemies. She was too strong to be defeated, however, and they began calling her "a demon queen." The boy tells the girl that she will meet her great-grandfather and her grandfather's friends and they will save her. The girl thanks the boy for coming to visit her and says that she has never looked at him like this before.
