In this chapter, the audience is introduced to a new character, the monster Boy. He is introduced as a young man who has just returned from the battlefield. He tells the audience that he has a secret about himself and his blood line. He says that if he merely wishes to live a normal life, he does not need to worry about his past. But if he wants to make some of his own story, he will need to tell it to himself. He warns the audience to listen closely, as the monster boy is out on the battlefield alone. The monster boy says that he is coming to kill the kid. The kid says that the monster is fast and that he will crash. He also says that they will have to use magic to catch the monster. He adds that the giant sword is intimidating, but he is at least equal in size and weight to the giant blade. This means that they must get close to each other and fight personal. They also have to fight with their own magic. The boy is amazed at how fast and powerful this monster is. He compares it to how strong he is compared to the other monsters in the world. He thinks that the place is awesome, and that fighting is the only thing he is good at. But now, he says, he is finding all these awesome fighters. He asks the kid if he is afraid of the afterlife, and the kid says he is. Then he says that it is time for the monster to clean up his act.
