The gang is on their way back to U.K., and they're psyched to see how far they've come. They're also psyched to meet up with U.S. Senator Harker, who's just returned from a trip to the Galapagos. Harker and the gang talk about how much fun it's been to travel so far, and how happy they are to see each other again. The gang teases Harker about wanting to join the ranks of the immortals, and Harker says he'll join them, whether he likes it or not. He also tells Harker that he's heard a rumor that the city of shin-kyo was built in such a rush that the tunnels underneath the city were made into a labyrinth, and that they'll never be able to get out of it. He promises to give Harker eight years to come out of the city, if he wants to join.
