Sayonara Zetsubou-Sensei

In this chapter, we learn that Cocco has decided not to return to Japan. He has decided to rent a letter from "the stars and stripes" and a copy of "I wo dvd son New release 1 night, lied days, rented monsists" . He also decides to rent "love" , a story about men and women who have dog hair , and "deep stagnation," a story of people who have no idea what to do with themselves. Cocco explains that he and his friends have narrowed their search down to two choices: the story of "Love" and "Aoyanagi Deep Stagnation." He says that they have lost their way in life, and that they are now in the "third alternative city." Cocco says that he doesn't think that there is anything wrong with "the inexplicable third alternative." He explains that the parents of Cocco's sister, Tome, couldn't make up their minds between "Mirakuru and Tome" and between "Chiri and Chiri." They named her "chiri" for some reason, and they ended up naming her "for some reason." The narrator says that this is "where all the third alternative gather," and that it's where "all the third alternatives" have gathered. The narrator points out that it is "the third alternative" that has taken a turn for the worse, and it is not the fault of someone else. He concludes by saying that the only solution to the problem is to "say the word baby 10 times."
