Back at the shop, we're introduced to the shop's owner, Jean Paul. He's super excited about the fact that his customers are going to have to cancel their Valentine's Day purchases because they're not into the guy they gave the chocolates to. We're also introduced to a new system that's going to be introduced soon: the Love Cooling-Off Period. Basically, if you give someone a bunch of chocolates and then decide that you don't want to spend any more time with him, you can either cancel the gift within seven days or you can declare that you're in love with him and spend the rest of the day hanging out with him. Jean Paul is super psyched about this new system. He thinks it's a great idea because it'll keep people from falling in love and ruining their lives. He also thinks that this system will prevent tragedies like the one we've just seen with the guy who gave his wife the chocolates.
